Gravity Lamp
This talk was delivered by Daniel Sorokacs, a major in the 3/2 Cooperative Engineering program in April, 2009. The gravity lamp is a proposal by which gravitational potential energy is converted into electricity.
A second talk was delivered by Adam Lunney on the subject of Alternative Energy.

A Nobel Prize Winner Visits
Dr. Joseph H. Taylor won the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physics with co-recipient Russell Hulse for using the observed orbital decay of binary pulsar PSR 1913 +16 to test Einstein's General Theory of Relativity with unprecedented sensitivity. While at Princeton, Dr. Jeremy Brown worked for Dr. Taylor as an Assistant Dean. Dr. Taylor attended President Brown's inauguration ceremonies on November 29 and 30, 2007.
